Don't be mad the Guild Wars updates don't revolve around your timezone. :\

And your point is? ANet never said they were reverting it.

My understanding from the buff to SF... "we want to make farming easier, but we don't feel like removing loot-scaling". Honestly, how lame

- That basically sums up ANET's disrespectful attitude towards Guild Wars players. Don't you guys ever get tired of being fed bucketful of shit down your throat every update? I've never seen anything like this on any game before and I've played plenty. Instead of Ursan, now you can opt to take party-wide blockweb / mass defense / mass healing combination and pretend you're good at the game.

IS. THIS. FUN?

For the everyday, casual player it is. This has been evident since LIKE, forever. Whatever is easier for them.

For all us QQing about this, myself to a great extent included - you must remember to take something into account. This is PvE.

The vast majority of Guild Wars players PvE. Most don't go on to Guru, and if they do, they're using Ventari's as an Auction House or they're going to the Campfire for farming builds. They're not reading Ensign's detailed treatises on damage, Divine's explanation's on why Ursan is bad for the game, and so on.

By doing this, ANet is making a smarter market move, as much as I hate to admit it. Of course I disagree strongly with the reason behind it, but it's a smart decision. Your average player likes to see big numbers, big damage, experience flying about, etc. They don't want to kite around pre-protting targets for 3 minutes while they wittle down some level 30 HM ele's monster armour.

With all this in mind, many of these buffs seem very random indeed. The one skill that I positively knew was going to be buffed was splinter weapon, and it's absent. I agree with Ash and Arkantos that this is borderline random.

Many people were saying how this would make PvE so much easier. All I'm seeing are random skills being slightly buffed. NOTHING is being superbuffed as everyone predicted. The top candidates for superbuffs would be splinter weapon and LoD. LoD got buffed but still isn't that useful and splinter wasn't even touched. Also, I thought there were gonna be some HUGE nerfs to PvP but that also wasn't the case.

I will agree that this does seem pretty random.

I was expecting Incoming, Defensive Anthem (although with DA I was expecting a longer duration) and Watch Yourselves! (although I was expecting it to be just a straight up armor boost like it was pre-nerf).

But Shadow Form, Discord, and Ether Renewal seems a bit random. SF might be to help farmers a bit, but since there are easy ways for you to get a perma-SF it seems odd.

Well, until they encounter their first Ruby Djinn (or, God forbid, a boss with SF ) at least.

After all, monsters use the same skills we do...

Shadow Form buff has to be the dumbest thing I've ever read. If you want to make the farmers happy revert everything back to summer 05; griffins, no loot scaling, no dying nightmares, no fleeing, protective bond, everything.

As to be expected none of these buffs really matter. Everything that was stupidly overpowered is still stupidly overpowered and none of these changes match what we already had.

Call this a ,,Pwnway'' and you get 5.0 at pvx. Almost every skill and enchant... Crazy.

Btw, anet not rly knows how to balance. They give us some overpowered skills, yet the worst of all is still better.
